A comfortable layer for when the temperature drops, this sweatshirt is made of a soft cotton blend. To seal out the cold and lock in the warmth, it features stretchable spandex rib knit cuffs and waistband. 10.5-ounce, 50/50 cotton/poly blend or 59/41 cotton/poly blend (Black, Carbon Heather, New Navy)* 70/30 cotton/poly blend (Heather Grey) Front-neck V patch for easy on/off Stretchable, spandex-reinforced, rib knit cuffs and waistband Carhartt label sewn on lower left front Loose fit *Please note: Select colors in Carhartt fleece are currently transitioning from a 50/50 cotton/poly blend to a 59/41 cotton/poly blend. Decoration options
- Polos
- Embroidery on the left chest is the standard. Performance polos can also take a heat-applied transfer.
- Fleece
- Fleece takes embroidery well, usually on the left chest.
- T-shirts
- Screen printing for larger runs, DTF for full-color logos and short runs.
- Jackets
- Softshells and fleece take embroidery. Puffers and insulated jackets get a patch or a heat-applied logo instead, because stitching through the fill leaves holes and puckers.
- Button-ups
- A small embroidered logo on the left chest, above the pocket if there is one.
- Caps and beanies
- Embroidery on the front panel, or a patch.
- Bags
- Embroidery or a patch on a front panel or pocket.
- Quarter-zips
- Embroidery on the left chest, with a sleeve or back-yoke hit if you want a second placement.
- Vests
- The jacket rule applies: embroidery on softshell and fleece vests, a patch or heat-applied logo on insulated ones.
